Cost of Living in Hungary

The cost of living in Hungary is not too expensive and is relatively affordable. Approximately 450-500 Euros is required to cover monthly costs and expenses such as food, accommodation, phone, textbooks, internet subscription, etc.

COST OF STUDY AND TUITION IN HUNGARY

Students with outstanding academic records most of the time benefit from a program financed by the state, where the Hungarian government pays the tuition fees of the students selected. If you come from a country with an agreement with Hungary or are an EU student, you may qualify for the program.

Non-EU and international students who are not eligible for the government-financed program will have to pay tuition fees between 1000-3000 Euros every academic year. Also, they may need to pay registration fees which range between 40-700 Euros depending on the course chosen by a student.

To be eligible for an undergraduate program in Hungary, students should meet the following requirements:

  • Students will need to show evidence of their proficiency in the use of Hungarian and English language
