Step One

Go to Tech Express to open the sign-in page. On the page, enter your Tennessee student email and click NEXT.

Step Two

Enter your password on this page and click the “Sign in” blue button under the password tab. You will require the college default password if it is your first time signing in.

The default password is z?T#. The # stands for the eight digits of your T-number. For example, if your T-number is T-12345678, your default password will be z?T12345678.

Step Three

Once you sign in, start setting up your Multi-Factor Authentication. If you forget your password, you cannot use the self-service password recovery without Multi-Factor Authentication.

Step Four

Create a new password. Enter your default password in the space provided on the password setup page. On the second space, enter your new password, and retype the new password on the verify password page. Click Sign in.

  1. Your password length must be between 16 and 256 characters
