The University of Alabama, USA, is pleased to announce its UA Competitive International Academic Scholarship Awards Program for all excellent candidates who want to begin an undergraduate program in 2023.
The scholarship program is offered to support students in gaining excellence in their chosen field at the University. All international students can apply for the UA competitive academic scholarship program.
Founded in 1820, the University of Alabama, a public research University and Alabama’s oldest and largest institution, offers a variety of bachelor’s, master’s degrees, specialist education, and doctoral programs across 13 academic divisions.

The value of the UA Competitive Academic Scholarship will be based on the student’s CORE GPA (defined as the average weighted GPA of core math, science, English, social studies, and foreign language classes) and the ranking of the TOP scholarship applications in the application pool.
The University of Alabama uses the Competitive Academic Scholarship Review Scale listed below to alleviate entrance exam testing availability stress by awarding comparable scholarship values to only the top applicants in the scholarship application pool.

Who Can Apply For the University of Alabama Competitive International Awards In the USA, 2023?
To be eligible for the UA Competitive International Scholarship Awards, interested applicants must be students of the University of Alabama or be admitted to an undergraduate program in the school on or before the application deadline.
The AU Competitive International Scholarship Awards Program is offered by the University of Alabama in the USA.
The Competitive International Scholarship Awards Program is open to international students.
The scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor’s in any subject offered by the university.

How to Apply For the University of Alabama Competitive International Awards In the USA, 2023?
Interested applicants should complete their UA Competitive International Academic Scholarship application via mybama.ua.edu.
Note:
All students that submit a competitive scholarship application will be reviewed for scholarships on both the Automatic Merit and the Competitive Academic Scales.
Also, any student that receives an automatic merit scholarship later selected for a competitive academic scholarship of higher value will be upgraded to the UA Competitive Academic Scholarship and its value.
What is the UA Competitive International Scholarship Application Deadline?
The deadline for submission of the University of Alabama Competitive Scholarship application is January 15, 2023.
Scholarship Application Review
Here is how the scholarship application will be reviewed…
Students admitted before January 15 who submit a scholarship application with all required supporting documents by the deadline will be eligible for competitive university and departmental scholarships.
Additionally, students that submit a scholarship application by the January 15 priority deadline can expect to receive notification of any competitive scholarships awarded, which includes the UA Competitive Academic Scholarship, by the first week of March.
However, if the January 15 priority deadline has passed, UA still encourages students to complete the competitive scholarship application as we will continue to review applications on a fund-available basis.
That being said, the last day to submit a competitive scholarship application is March 1, 2023. Therefore, students who submit a scholarship application after the January 15 priority deadline can expect notification of any competitive scholarships awarded by May 1.
