Washington State Opportunity Scholarship

The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) provides scholarships for Washington state students pursuing a certification in high-demand Washington state industries. They provide the Baccalaureate Scholarship yearly, while their Career and Technical Scholarship (CTS) runs three times each year.

If you’re a Washington student, this scholarship opportunity is for you.

Presently, the CTS scholarship is ongoing, and like all WSOS scholarships, it provides funds that cover tuition and/or other fees.

Washington State is one of the U.S states with the fastest-growing economies. Thus, there are more trade, healthcare, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) jobs that the workforce can’t fill. WSOS capitalizes on this need to provide funding to produce an adequate and better-quality workforce.

At the end of the day, WSOS will have maximized the return on investment for the state while ensuring that the state’s robust economy continues to thrive.

In addition, WSOS assists students with flexible financial aid funding and student support services like mentorship, professional development, and networking.
