Cosby’s Sexual Attack Arguments cost him millions

Bill Cosby Mistrial Reaction

Till today, the confirmations of the sexual attack against Bill Cosby were carried out by more than 50 women. The shows held by Bill Cosby were poorly attended and there were many protests. When Cosby was arrested in 2015, he was no longer touring. According to a CNN report, these standup tours typically generated more than $10 million in ticket sales.

Around the same time, the streaming giant canceled the planned Cosby special for Netflix. He also lost a seven-figure contract to produce and star in a new sitcom for NBC. Many shows have been canceled.

In addition to all the revenue Cosby has lost from canceled TV, stand-up, and other entertainment projects, his assault allegations have cost him millions of dollars in settlements and legal fees. While we don’t know exactly how much he paid to attorneys in total, we do know that he still owed a California law firm nearly $3 million in overdue legal bills last year.

But no matter how much his legal troubles have cost him, Cosby still seems to have enough money to earn the privileges of the rich. With the help of his powerful (and very expensive) lawyers, he was able to find a loophole in the law and he won his freedom. That would not have been possible without luck and money to finance his prominent lawyers.
