How Did Jason David Frank (JDF) Die?

The fan base of ‘Power Rangers’ is distressed by the suicide of star Jason David Frank, and it was learned through the events leading up to the tragic incident. According to TMZ, Law enforcement authorities said that Jason and his wife, Tammie, checked into a hotel reservation in Texas on Friday. The two — who are in the middle of divorce proceedings — were given separate rooms, but at some point, the married couple got in a fight in the lobby area and called the police.

The law enforcement sources say at some point between late Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning, Jason and Tammie got into another argument. Tammie was apparently concerned about Jason’s safety and called for the cops at about 5 AM Saturday morning.

When the hotel management was unsure whether to contact Jason, they were informed to let the officers come barging into the lobby. When they succeeded in getting access to the actor, they discovered that he had hung himself in the bathroom.

Followers will simply remember what … he became famous in as the leader of the Power Rangers, only to become a villain in Season 1, then become a redeemer in Season 2. When his powers began to decline, he became the White Ranger and emerged the third leader of the group. Frank played the lead role for three seasons, totaling 123 episodes.

Frank went on to perform his role as Tommy in several different appearances of Power Rangers — including Wild Force, Turbo, Zeo, Dino Thunder, Megaforce, Ninja Steel, HyperForce, and more. He’s been a Red Ranger, a Black Ranger, and a Green Ranger again. JDF is among the most favorite Power Rangers … and that’s why he went back to it time and again.

Jason David Frank died through suicide at age 49 years and is survived by 4 children.

His rep said, “He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”
