Early Life
Katona was born In Warrington, Cheshire Katona’s maternal grandfather is a Hungarian who does Budapest to London during the second world war.

She left school at sixteen to become a lap dancer, then joined a dance troupe that toured Europe.

In 1999, Kerry Katona rose to fame as a member of Atomic Kitten, an all-female pop trio created by orchestral maneuvers in the Dark frontman Andy McCluskey. Their debut single “Right Now”, was released In November 1999 and reached number 10 on the UK singles chart. Their second single “See ya” followed In March 2000 and was an even bigger success reaching number six.
Following the success story, Atomic kitten went on an Asian tour and made a hit there with “Cradle”. The album Right Now was first released In Japan on 16 March 2000, and later released in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2000. This followed the release of two further singles,” I Want Your Love” and “Follow me. In 2000, The group also recorded a cover version of ” The Locomotion” for the movie Thomas and the magic railroad.
Right Now was unsuccessful upon its first release, peaking at only number 39 on the UK album chart. Due to their low success, kitten’s record label, Innocent Records, was on the note of dropping them.
After a given a chance, the group decided to release one more single from the album, “Whole Again”.
The single became their first number-one hit in the united kingdom and remained there for four consecutive weeks. Unfortunately, Kerry Katona left the group before the single’s release because she was pregnant.
Also, the song and video for “Whole Again” were re-recorded, and the singer Jenny Frost replaced Katona In the lineup
In late 2002, she married Brian McFadden, and from there, she moved into television work, appearing on entertainment programs such as Britain’s, Sexist, eliminate, and Loose Women. She was featured In LIily savage’s Blankety Blank In 2001. In 2004, she separated from McFadden.
