Ed Trumble and co-founder Bob Lorenz began mailing Christmas cards to western farmers and ranchers in 1949. The two started their business in Colorado trading art for advertising.
While Ed was running the business side of things, Bob, an aspiring young western artist, created a painting for the cover of Western Livestock Magazine. In return, the two entrepreneurs received a full-page ad to advertise their western Christmas cards – all four.

If you know the product part number (e.g. BDG59236, AVG43663, MGR283, etc.), you can search for a specific part using the Part Number Search box on the left side of the screen.
If you’re looking for a specific card type, first click the Greeting Cards tab at the top of the page. You will then be directed to a page where you can occasionally navigate to all of the map selections.
You will also see certain search options on the left side of your screen where you can click on certain search criteria such as ticket occasion, price range, subject, artist, etc.
To find a specific gift item, first, click the Gifts tab at the top of the page. You will then be directed to a page where you can navigate through our full range of gifts by product category.

How to find Leaning Tree Cards Using the Shopping Cart
Shopping at Leaning Tree is easy! You add items to your shopping cart in two simple steps:
- Click the small picture of the item you are interested in or click “View Details” to view a larger picture and additional information.
- While viewing the large picture of the item, enter the number of items you want by clicking the “Quantity” box, entering the desired quantity and clicking the “Add to Cart” button.
A page confirms that you’ve added the item and gives you several links to continue shopping. As simple as that!
You can view the contents of your shopping cart by going to the “Shopping Cart” page. You can go to the shopping cart page at any time by clicking the “View Cart” button in the top right corner of your screen.

How to Create a FREE Account in Leaning Tree Cards
Creating a new FREE account with us will make shopping and placing orders easier. You can create and use your own address book and use our handy reminder management service to remind you of upcoming events that you don’t want to forget (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, holidays, etc.).
To create your account, simply click the “Person” icon in the top right corner and then click “New”. Enter your email address and password, and then enter your password again to confirm.

How can I get my Leaning Tree Card?
All items shown on our website are currently available. Please allow 3 days to process your order (5 days for personalized orders).
If you choose standard shipping, you can expect your order to be received within 3 to 7 working days of shipping. You will receive rush orders within 2 working days of shipping. The rush service is only available for street addresses (no PO boxes).
