Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Wells Fargo are proud to offer financial assistance to excellent students who attend one of the 47 public historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF member schools network. The Wells Fargo Scholarship is open to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Selected scientists will receive a one-year scholarship of up to $5,000 for the 2023 academic school year, which will be used to cover tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, and required textbooks purchased from member schools.

The funds are applied in the fall and spring semesters at $2,500 per semester.

Wells Fargo HBCU-TMCF Scholarship Requirements

• Registered as a second year Junior, or Senior for the 2023 school year
  •  Register as a full-time student at one of the 47 member schools of TMCFCurrent point average of 3.0 or higher
•  Demonstrated financial need
•  Show leadership qualities through a variety of measures
•  Be an American citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent residence permit
•  Open to all majors

The Wells Fargo Scholarship program for people with disabilities is designed to give people with disabilities the education or training necessary to succeed in the career path of their choice.

To apply, you must have a defined disability (defined as someone who has or considers himself or herself to be a long-term or recurring issue affecting one or more important life activities).

Candidates must have high school seniors or graduates planning to enroll or who are already enrolled in a full or half-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States for the 2023 academic year.

What is the benefit of the Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities?

The program will award up to $2,500 in renewable scholarships for full-time students and up to $1,250 in renewable scholarships for half-time students.

The Wells Fargo student scholarships provide funding to registered members of a federally recognized Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or a state-recognized tribe in the US OR provide documentation on the descent for possession of fourth-degree Indian blood from a state or federally recognized strain.

Wells Fargo is looking for full-time and academic freshmen, sophomore students, juniors, and seniors with a current GPA of 2.7 or higher with a maximum of $5000 for a year of study in a chosen major at an accredited institution in the United States.

•  Recipients must be able to prove individual membership or decadence to the U.S. federally recognized or U.S. state-recognized strain of the American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native by submitting the AIGC Tribal Eligibility Certificate (TEC).

This scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students from disadvantaged populations enrolled at the College of Education at the University of Georgia.

Students must have built up a financial need. Underpopulated populations include, but are not limited to, the following conditions:

• member of an under-represented minority or ethnic group,
•  first-generation student,
•  People who grew up in a single-parent family,
•  Whose first language was not English,
•  Individuals from a city center or rural location.

• Download the current version of the exhibition guide.
•  Prior to the start of your application, identify all the scholarships for which you are applying. You cannot add information or additional scholarships to your application once it has been submitted. Keep the following available for upload before you start the application:
•  A typed personal essay with double line spacing. This essay must contain information about yourself, including your professional and educational goals, financial needs, or how a scholarship can help you achieve your goals, as well as specific information requested by each of the scholarships you apply for.
•  A signed COE application form for exhibition programs (see page 6 of the exhibition guide).
•  Continue required.
•  Complete the online application.
•  Submit three (3) signed recommendation/referral letters. Any additional letters other than the three required will not be taken into account. Your references can submit recommendations online or send them in a sealed envelope.
