Why Can’t I See Who Viewed My Story On Instagram?

If the “Add post to the story” button is missing, you won’t be able to share a post with your Story. Only public accounts have access to this feature. The share button will not be available if you are trying to share a post from a private account, and you will be unable to proceed.

1. Swipe up on your Instagram Story Question box.
2. Press “See all” to see all the responses…
Choose one response and share it…
Design your Instagram Story response…
Press the Save button…
Press the “x” button to exit the Story.

If you’re using third-party apps to edit and repost photos, videos, and stories, you should check to see if you have the latest version of the app. Go to either the Play Store or App Store, find your reposting app, and look for new updates. Do the same for Instagram.

Tap on the gear icon on your profile and scroll down to the Allow Others to reshare option. If the slider for this option is on (and blue), people currently have the ability to share your posts. To disable this setting, tap on the slider to turn it off.

The most common reason is that the person who publishes the original story has not allowed their followers to share it. To mark it, go to your profile->Settings->Privacy & Security -> Story Controls->Shared Content.

So the first thing you should do is check the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to download and install any app updates on Instagram. Once you update the app, open Instagram and create a story. Tap on a sticker at the top and see if ‘Add Yours’ appears.

To update Instagram on your Android device, open the Google Play Store and type “Instagram” in the Search for apps & games field at the top of the interface. Press the green Update button next to the app to update Instagram.
