Due to the rising costs of college<\/strong><\/a>, some institutions have created scholarships reserved exclusively for students of its institution. One of these colleges is Rutgers University. To enable students to attend Rutgers to obtain a university education, Rutgers University(RU) offers a variety of Rutgers scholarships for new and emerging students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of these awards are based on academic achievements, financial needs as determined by information provided on the FAFSA, while others are based on other measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to be considered for one of these Rutgers Scholarships<\/strong>, you must apply for FAFSA as soon as possible. Continuing and admitted students who submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are automatically considered for a wide range of scholarships awarded by the Office of Financial Aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You Need to Know About Rutgers Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Rutgers Scholarships are open to undergraduate students<\/strong><\/a> to pursue their chosen field of study in the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Host Nationality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rutgers Scholarships <\/strong>is hosted by Rutgers University, USA<\/strong><\/a> through the Office of the Financial Aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible Nationality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rutgers Scholarship <\/strong>is open to eligible US citizens and non-citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rutgers Scholarship 202<\/strong>2<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Below is a list of some scholarships for Rutgers students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST Scholarship<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Level\/Field of Study: <\/strong>The scholarship is open to high school<\/strong><\/a> graduating seniors for a full-time undergraduate study at RU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship Worth:<\/strong> This scholarship grants successful students $5,000 per year for a maximum of four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be considered, the candidate must have participated in one of the FIRST Robotics competition teams or the FIRST Tech Challenge team before attending to Rutgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the candidate must have been admitted to the RU. Only students who intend to attend Rutgers full-time will be considered for this scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, they need a letter of recommendation from the adult who supervised the FIRST project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RU September 11th<\/sup> Memorial Scholarship<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate the brave men and women<\/strong><\/a> who died in the September 11 attacks, Rutgers University has created this scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To qualify, the candidate must be in the care of a resident of New Jersey who died on September 11 as a result of the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level\/Field of Study: <\/strong>For this scholarship, only students who have been accepted at the undergraduate level and who are studying for their first university degree will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing Student Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students<\/strong><\/a> who have completed their first year at Rutgers and are looking for additional funding to be interested in scholarships for continuing education students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level\/Field of Study: <\/strong>These scholarships are only available to students of the Faculty of Arts<\/strong><\/a> and Sciences<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Continuing Student Scholarship<\/strong> awards are very competitive and the students have to be invited to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship Worth: <\/strong>Successful students are awarded $1,000 to cover the tuition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To apply, students must have a grade point average of 3.7, plan to be enrolled at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in the fall or is currently enrolled at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to academic excellence, the committee also wants to reward students who have written compelling essays and done charitable work in Rutgers or the surrounding community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Deadline: <\/strong>Students wishing to apply for this award must submit their full application by February 202<\/strong>2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
