FIU Scholarships help you as a graduate<\/strong> of FIU to get your degree with little or no debt. Scholarships are usually merit-based financial aid (awarded based on your grades and achievements), but some may have need-based requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students wishing to become members of the FIU often decide how much money they receive to study<\/strong><\/a> at the university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fortunately, many FIU Scholarships 2023 opportunities are available to prospective students or students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Florida International University<\/strong>\u00a0(FIU<\/strong>)<\/a> is a\u00a0metropolitan\u00a0public\u00a0research<\/strong> <\/a>university\u00a0in\u00a0Greater Miami,\u00a0Florida. FIU has two major campuses in\u00a0Miami-Dade County, with its main campus in\u00a0University Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Florida International University is classified as a research university with the highest research activity by the\u00a0Carnegie Foundation and a research university by the\u00a0Florida Legislature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n FIU belongs to the 12-campus\u00a0State University System of Florida<\/a><\/strong> and is one of Florida’s primary graduate research universities, awarding over 3,400 graduate and professional degrees annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n FIU started with a vision to build a public university in Miami, an institution that could create an opportunity for a growing, dynamic city. Half a century later, that vision became a Carnegie Foundation top-ranked research university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some FIU Scholarships<\/strong> are only available to students in certain classes (graduates or students), while others are open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the specific grants to the FIU listed below, students may wish to complete an application with FAFSA to determine if they qualify for state aid or state aid. In addition, students may review the following scholarships for CRF students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This FIU Scholarship<\/strong> is awarded to students based solely on academic merit. To qualify for the scholarship, students must have an average of 4.0 and reach a 27 in the ACT or 1280 in the SAT exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, only student citizens or permanent residents of the United States<\/strong><\/a> are eligible for this FIU Scholarship<\/strong>, although students on F-1 visas may apply. Finally, applicants must plan to enroll at the full-time FIU immediately after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The FIU Scholarship<\/strong> grants 75% of tuition fees<\/strong>,<\/a> covers all tuition fees and textbooks. All applicants must have an average of 3.3 degrees, study full-time at the university, and have an excellent reputation there. In addition, students must submit a letter of recommendation and show leadership<\/strong> <\/a>skills on the FIU campus and in the surrounding community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n All interested applicants must apply by October 14th. The winner will receive a $ 1,000 bursary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This scholarship is funded by the National Council of Action for Minorities in Engineering<\/a>.<\/strong> The purpose of this FIU Scholarship<\/strong> is to increase the number of qualified minority students entering the field of engineering. To be eligible, students must have at least 2.9 points on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This FIU Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0will only cover students who attend FIU on a full-time basis. Applicants must have an engineering degree and show a financial need, as stated in their application to FAFSA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Students must also be residents or citizens of the United States, and only students belonging to a minority (Indian<\/strong><\/a>, African-American or Hispanic) are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Florida International FIU Scholarship<\/strong> is renewable, provided that candidates continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship offers students $ 2,000 a year for fall and spring semesters. Students can be funded for up to five years without a renewed application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the applicant has received funding, students must submit an updated curriculum vitae and participate in mentor-sponsored research<\/strong>.
