Humphrey<\/strong> Fellowship is to enrich Fellows\u2019 professional skills and knowledge. Humphrey Fellowship Program: <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants eligible for this fellowship must<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ghanaian citizen and resident of Ghana during the time of application.<\/li><li>An undergraduate (first university or Bachelor\u2019s) degree<\/li><li>A minimum of five years of full-time, professional experience post-undergraduate study.<\/li><li>Limited or no prior experience in the United States<\/li><li>Demonstrated leadership qualities<\/li><li>A record of public service in the community<\/li><li>English language ability.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-number-of-awardees\"><span id=\"number-of-awardees\"><strong>Number of Awardees:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Not specified<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection process is in <strong>five (5)<\/strong>&nbsp;core stages<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage 1:<\/strong> Commissions and Embassies of the different select countries review applications submitted for the Humphrey Fellowship Program, invite selected applicants for interviews, and determine which applications are to be forwarded for further consideration to the Institute of International Education in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage 2:<\/strong> Nominations are screened by the Institute of International Education<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage 3:<\/strong>&nbsp;Candidate Review Committees are set up to review applications from a particular region of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage 4:<\/strong> Approval of candidates by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board is done at this stage.&nbsp;The FSB has final authority for selection of all Fellows and supervises the conduct of the Program both in the United States and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage<\/strong> <strong>5:&nbsp;<\/strong>After receiving approval from the FSB, the Department of State will announce the final selection results to participating Embassies and Binational Fulbright Commissions, who will inform candidates of their status. The Institute of International Education places the approved candidates at U.S. universities that have been selected to host Humphrey Fellows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Placements are determined by candidates\u2019 fields of study and the program plan statements expressed in their applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-apply-for-hubert-h-humphrey-fellowship-program\"><span id=\"how-to-apply-for-hubert-h-humphrey-fellowship-program\"><strong>How to Apply For Hubert H.
