Chevening Scholarships is the UK government\u2019s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders since 1983. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations, Chevening offers two types of awards\u2013Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships\u2013the recipients of which are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scholarships Benefits for international students include a living stipend, airfares, and the full or partial cost of tuition fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship if you:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once submitted, applications undergo an electronic sift against our eligibility criteria. Any applications deemed ineligible will be removed from the selection process. Please see the list of common errors here<\/a>. If you make these errors in your application form, your application will be ineligible. Please note that once your application has been submitted, it is not possible to change it retrospectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To qualify for Chevening Scholarships, you must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n More than thirty scholarships are currently awarded to candidates from Nepal, India, <\/strong>and China. Twenty or more are awarded to candidates from Egypt, South Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan, Mexico, and Brazil, with less than five core scholarships now available to candidates from Australia and Canada. (US students are not eligible, but can apply for the Marshall Scholarships<\/a><\/strong> which are also funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office). The Chevening Scholarship is not available to non-indigenous Australian candidates.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Chevening Scholarships are for students pursuing any of the following programs across the various fields of study;<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you fail to demonstrate that you have met the required English language level by 12 July 2018 or fail to prove that you qualify for an exemption, your application will not be successful. You are free to take tests more than once in order to meet the Chevening English language requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note that Chevening does not pay for costs associated with English language testing. You are responsible for booking and paying for costs associated with these tests.
