This new scholarship initiative will provide every recipient with the chance to learn new skills, launch or advance their career, and unlock their potential. In the past year alone, Udacity and Google have combined to offer 130K scholarships to people worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two phases to this new scholarship program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-phase-1-50000-challenge-scholarships\"><span id=\"phase-1-50000-challenge-scholarships\"><strong>Phase 1: 50,000 Challenge Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first phase of this Audacity Google scholarship provides three months of access to one of four Udacity courses: Intro to HTML + CSS, Offline Web Applications, Android Basics, and Developing Android Apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Audacity Google Scholarship recipients in these courses will receive a robust community experience supported by Udacity mentors and dedicated Community Managers; they will also have a chance to qualify for a full Nano-degree scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-phase-2-5000-nanodegree-scholarships\"><span id=\"phase-2-5000-nano-degree-scholarships\"><strong>Phase 2: 5,000 Nano-degree Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The top 5,000 students in the program will earn an additional 6-month scholarship to one of four Nano-degree programs: Front-End Web Developer, Mobile Web Specialist, Android Basics, and Android Developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These Audacity Google Scholarship programs offer a world-class curriculum, a groundbreaking classroom experience, industry-leading instructors, expert project reviews, and a full suite of career services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Before I continue here are things you need to know about AUDACITY<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can say that audacity is one of the biggest online schools, you can attend. collaborating with Google is a masterpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Udacity<\/strong>\u00a0is a for-profit educational organization founded by Sebastian Thrun, David Stevens, and Mike Sokolsky, offering massive open online courses (MOOCs). According to Thrun, the name Udacity originates from the company&#8217;s desire to be &#8220;audacious for you, the student&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it originally focused on offering university-style courses, it now focuses more on professional vocational courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In November 2012, founder Sebastian Thrun won the Smithsonian American Ingenuity in Education Award for his work with Udacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the courses offered by audacity comprises several units comprising video lectures with closed captioning, integrated quizzes to help students understand concepts and reinforce ideas, as well as follow-up homework, which promotes a &#8220;learn by doing&#8221; model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Programming classes use the Python language; automated grading programs on the Udacity servers grade programming assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"14--levelfield-of-study-\"><span id=\"level-field-of-study\"><strong>Level\/Field of Study<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarships<\/strong>\u00a0are available for learners at all levels\u2014from beginners who\u2019ve never written a line of code to experienced developers. I won\u2019t say that your worries and fears are not valid, but you definitely have to overcome them. You wanted to learn something new. You should not forget this. Generally, if you want something terrible, you don\u2019t even need a scholarship, right? You can keep listing all your cons and problems, but they will not get you closer to your goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, stop it. Start watching the videos and get your quizzes and projects (if there are any) done. And Udacity takes it seriously to build it even further. But how will recipients be selected?
