These scholarships are given to students who come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grantees will be awarded 1040 euro monthly for a maximum of 4 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OeAD was founded in 1961 as an association of the Austrian Rectors\u2019 Conference with the objective of supporting international students <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kiiky.com\/category\/scholarships-by-countries\/austria-scholarships\/\">studying in Austria<\/a><\/strong>. This means that even in the case of the fulfillment of all the requirements there is no legal claim to the award of the scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Research award is only granted once per category. There is no yearly renewal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"1--levelfield-of-study-\"><span id=\"level-field-of-study\"><strong>Level\/Field of Study<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This research grants are calling for international potential in their Undergraduate, Postgraduate or graduate degree, to take science research in Austria in the following areas mentioned below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"2--area-of-research-\"><span id=\"area-of-research\"><strong>Area of Research:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Natural Science<\/li><li>Technical Science<\/li><li>Human Medicine, Health Sciences<\/li><li>Agricultural Sciences<\/li><li>Social Sciences<\/li><li>Humanities<\/li><li>Arts<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"3--duration--\"><span id=\"duration\"><strong>Duration: <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is to last for <strong>1 to 4 months&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"4--host-nationality-\"><span id=\"host-nationality\"><strong>Host Nationality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarships are also awarded for research timeline at some research institutions in Austria (e.g. universities, Austrian Academy of Sciences, National Library, National Archive).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an international student, you can go through this<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/kiiky.com\/study-in-austria-68-best-universities-in-austria-tuition-fees-ranking-and-official-websites\/\">68 Best Universities in Austria | Tuition Fees | ranking and Official Websites<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"5--eligible-nationality-\"><span id=\"eligible-nationality\"><strong>Eligible Nationality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>International Candidates (non-Austrian) is welcome to apply for this scholarship<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"6--scholarship-benefits-\"><span id=\"scholarship-benefits\"><strong>Scholarship Benefits<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Monthly installment of 1.050 EUR<\/li><li>Health Insurance<\/li><li>Accommodation: (Dormitory or Apartment). The scholarship holder has to pay an administrative fee of 18 EUR\/month to the OeAD Housing Office&nbsp;for the provision of accommodation, and the rest is paid<\/li><li>Travel cost<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"7--eligibility-\"><span id=\"eligibility\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Applicants must be descendants of forced laborers (regardless of their country of origin &#8211; or people coming from countries that have suffered exceptionally from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced laborers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students meeting the above-mentioned criteria can apply to pursue research:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li> on their bachelor thesis,<\/li><li> on their diploma or master thesis,<\/li><li>or their dissertation. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No&nbsp;scholarships are awarded for Bachelor-, Master- or Doctoral\/<a href=\"https:\/\/kiiky.com\/category\/phd-scholarships\/\"><strong>PhD studies<\/strong><\/a> pursued in Austria, summer courses, language courses, clinical traineeships or internships. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must not have studied\/pursued research\/pursued academic work in Austria in the last six months before taking up the grant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age limit<\/strong>:<br>Doctoral students: 40 years (born on or after September 1, 1980)<br>for other students: 35 years (born on or after September 1, 1985) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-custom-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"8--how-to-apply--\"><span id=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How To Apply&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for this scholarship, applicants are to complete an online application on the scholarship website(link is provided below). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"9--supporting-documents-\"><span id=\"supporting-documents\"><strong>Supporting Documents<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The following&nbsp;documents&nbsp;have to be uploaded  with the Online Application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Fully completed&nbsp;Online Application form \u201cApplication for a Scholarship of the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria\u201d including a CV and a project plan, describing the plans and completed&nbsp; preparatory work&nbsp;for the&nbsp;research stay in Austria<\/li><li>Two letters of recommendation from university lecturers. For these letters of recommendation, no specific form is required; they have to contain the letterhead, date, and signature of the person recommending the applicant and the stamp of the university\/department and must be no older than six months at the time of application.
