Meet Ahanonu Chris

Christian Ahanonu is a Content Writer and Developer at World Scholarship Forum. He researches and writes some of the beautiful content you have read on this website, alongside other amazing content writers. Christian believes that education is the water to our self-actualization and thus should be available and affordable to all.

At the World Scholarship Forum, he is excited to constantly provide you with opportunities to advance your education, skills, and personal development.

Although he joined the World Scholarship Forum in 2018, Christian has been writing since 2014 after graduating with an undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He wrote then as a freelancer, covering varied needs of internet users. He provided insightful and practical information on topics in technology, education, fashion, and online marketing.

Before joining the World Scholarship Forum, Christian spent two years performing community service working for a Non-Governmental Organization. He sensitized the people in the hinterland of Bayelsa, Nigeria, on HIV. He trained enthusiastic youths to be peer educators and facilitated meetings with People Living with HIV (PLHIVs). To also ensure that the PLHIVs were financially independent, Christian and his teammates successfully organized vocational training sessions for them.

Christian is also a member of the Figures of Speech Headquarters, an online platform for grooming African Creatives. He teaches Story Writing and learns poetry from the Masterminds in the group. He relates with writers across Africa and engages in cultural and intellectual discussions.

In 2017, Christian was the first runner up in the RealtyPoint’s Sack Your Landlord Essay Competition. He is currently working on a collection of short stories that explores contemporary Africa and the struggles, aspirations, and dreams of her people. Christian Ahanonu is from Imo State, Nigeria, and he resides in Owerri, Imo State.
