Materials Required

To make a paper football, you will need a sheet of paper, preferably a rectangular one. Any plain or colored paper will work, as long as it is not too thin or too thick. You can use a standard printer paper or a craft paper. 

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Begin by folding the paper in half lengthwise. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

2. Fold the paper in half the other way, this time width-wise. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

3. Now, fold the paper diagonally, bringing the corners of the paper together. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

4. Fold the paper diagonally in the other direction, bringing the opposite corners together. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

5. Now, fold the paper in half diagonally, bringing the two creased lines together. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

6. You should now have a creased paper with an “X” shape. Take the top layer of the paper from one corner and fold it towards the center. Do the same with the top layer of the paper from the opposite corner. 

7. Flip the paper over and repeat step 6 on the other side of the paper.

8. Once again, flip the paper over and fold one of the corners towards the center of the paper. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

9. Do the same with the opposite corner of the paper. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

10. Flip the paper over and fold one of the edges towards the center of the paper. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

11. Do the same with the opposite edge of the paper. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

12. Now, fold the paper in half lengthwise, bringing the two ends together. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

13. Fold one of the edges towards the center of the paper, using the creased lines as a guide. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

14. Do the same with the opposite edge of the paper. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

15. Finally, fold the paper in half width-wise, bringing the two ends together. Crease it well and then unfold it again.

16. You should now have a paper football! To play with it, hold it between your fingers and flick it with your other hand. Try to aim for a goalpost or any other target.
