List of Clemson University Scholarships

Clemson Scholars Scholarship:

This scholarship is open only to new freshmen who are residents of SC. To qualify for this scholarship, students must have got their first degree in a class at a public high school SC. The scholarship provides a scholarship of $ 3,500 per year.

Clemson University Diversity Scholarships:

These scholarships were created to help competitive students from disadvantaged backgrounds continue their studies at Clemson.

Students are automatically considered for this scholarship when applying to Clemson University, provided their application is received by the December 1st deadline.

Students are selected for this scholarship based on a combination of interpersonal skills, work experience, community service, previous academic merit, as well as personal background and personal experiences. Additional information on this scholarship can be found here.

Restricted Scholarships:

These scholarships are open to both first-time freshmen and returning undergraduate students. Students are required to complete a FAFSA application in order to be considered for these awards.

In general, students are selected for this award based on a combination of their high school GPA and scores on the ACT or SAT exam.

However, for returning students, only their grade point average from Clemson will be factored into the decision-making process.

We may also consider students who move to Clemson for this scholarship after completing a semester at the university.

Michelin Scholarship Program:

This scholarship is reserved for students wishing to specialize in a field related to engineering, computer science, or applied sciences.

In addition, the student must show determination to learn French and may have the opportunity to work in Michelin facilities through an internship. Only students with at least 3.0 GRA will be considered for this scholarship.
