About Davis Putter Scholarship Fund
Davis-Putter Scholarships support students that are earnestly working for justice and peace. These need-based scholarships are awarded to those who can do academic work at the university level and are part of the progressive movement on their campuses and in their communities.
All our funds come from the contributions of individual donors – there is no endowment. The Fund depends entirely on the generosity of people like you to support a new generation of progressive students.
The number of grants we are able to make and the size of each grant is directly related to the financial support we receive each year. The maximum grant available from the Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund is $10,000 per year (from July 1 through June 30).
Grants are disbursed to cover each semester, quarter, or term during which the grantee attends school.
