If your Home screen icons are magnified on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you need to turn off zoom on your iPhone.
- To turn off Zoom, go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then tap to turn Zoom off.
- If you can’t access Settings because your Home screen icons are magnified, then double tap with three fingers on the display to zoom out.
To turn off zoom on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom. Toggle the Zoom switch to off.
There are a few ways to do this.
One way is to go to Settings > Display & Brightness and change the View under Scale to Standard.
Another way is to hold down on the home button and at the same time, pinch your fingers together on the screen. This will bring up the multitasking menu and you can then select Zoomed.

To unzoom on iPhone 13 or iOS 13 and later: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom.
To change your screen settings on your iPhone, you can go to “Settings” and then select “Display & Brightness.” There, you can change the brightness of your screen, the orientation of your screen, and whether or not the Auto-Lock feature is turned on.
To make your iPhone screen darker without zoom, you can adjust the brightness settings. Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and drag the Brightness slider to the left. You can also turn on Auto-Brightness to have your iPhone adjust the brightness automatically based on your surroundings.
