The Hakuho Foundation Japanese Research Fellowship is designed to further strengthening the fundamentals of international research into Japan and deepening understanding of Japan. International Resaerchers from all over the world are welcome to Apply.
Eligible Nationality: international researcher
Host Nation: Japan
Duration: 12 month for long-term; 6-month for short-term
Number of invited fellowship: 15
Offered:
- Invited fellows will have their airfares, living and research expenses, housing and other expenses necessary for conducting research in Japan covered.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The available research areas are:
- Japanese language
- Japanese language education
- Japanese literature
- Japanese culture
- You have high motivation in research, and research background.
- You have close relationship with a higher education or research institution.
- You have a doctoral degree together with an extensive research or education background.
- You are familiar with Japanese language that you are able to conduct research in Japanese.
- Your conditions allow you to stay in Japan in the duration of fellowship as well as to join in research reporting sessions arranged by the Foundation.
