About Lagos Scholarship Award Scheme
The Lagos State Scholarship Board is the agency in charge of the state’s Scholarship, bursary, and other related matters. It grants Scholarships to deserving indigenes in various tertiary institutions for full-time studies to assist these students financially.
Bursary and scholarship awards are only allocated to selected students in basic, secondary, and tertiary institutions based on the recommendation from a selected panel of members from the five divisions of the state.
Applicants for any of these awards must be Lagos State indigenes.
We are going to break the application procedures into two categories. These are the Undergraduates and Postgraduates Application categories.
Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2023
The Scholarship is for students in various universities in Nigerian and Abroad pursuing their undergraduate degree program. The Lagos state scholarship 2023 will serve as an aid to those students to pay their fees.
Level/ Field of Study
Lagos state scholarship 2023 covers Undergraduate programs and Courses offered at Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Host Nationality

How much is Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship?
The Lagos State Undergraduate scholarship is Worth 200,000 Naira, during the Lagos State Undergraduate scholarship is worth 300,000 Naira.
Duration of Scholarship:
Scholarships are renewable for the period of education through graduation. Recipients are expected to maintain excellent academic performance and present the progress report as evidence that they have moved to the next stage of their program.

Eligibility for Lagos State Undergraduate scholarship
- All applicants must have completed full-time admission to a recognized Nigerian college.
- All candidates with a Bachelor’s degree:
- i. On a 7.0 MPCG scale (e.g., University of Ibadan), they must have a minimum of 4.6 / 7.0.
- ii. If the MPC scale is 5.0 (e.g., University of Lagos), they must have a minimum of 3.5 / 5.0
- iii. If the MBM scale is 4.0 (for example, colleges and colleges), they must have a minimum of 3.0 / 4.0.
- Iv. If the applicant is a 200L medical student, options I, ii, and iii apply.
- V. If the applicant is a medical student for an amount of 300 L and whose result requires a minimum credit
- All applicants must be two years of age or older.
- All applicants must have completed the LASRRA registration.
- All applicants must have an identification letter signed by their respective Oba.

How to Apply for Lagos State Undergraduate scholarship
- Applicant must be a Lagos State Indigene studying in any tertiary institution nationwide.
- All applicants are required to make a Payment of N2,000.00 for Local Scholarship through the Revenue Office of the Lagos State Scholarship Board.
- Then take the payment confirmation receipt to the Lagos State Scholarship Board to secure their secret voucher pins for online application.
- The application will only be processed with evidence of a consolidated payment confirmation slip.
- Ensure you correctly fill in the application form and click on the “Apply Now” button to complete your application.
- Then secure your Voucher pin from the Scholarship Board office. After that, have clear scanned copies of the following documents (For Undergraduates):

Short-listed candidates for the qualifying test will be invited by email and SMS text messages. All applicants are therefore advised to ensure that valid GSM telephone numbers and personal email addresses are correctly entered into the e-forms on the portal.

How to Apply from Scholastica. ng
To apply, follow the steps below:
1. Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
2. Click on “Register Now” to create an account.
3. Proceed to your email box to activate your account
4. Click on www.scholastica.ng/ to return to the Scholarship site
5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
6. Enter your personal information, additional information, educational information, and other information, and upload required scanned documents.
7. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in the same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
8. Ensure you view all documents after uploading to eliminate errors during uploading.
9. When asked to upload a photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
10. Recheck application information to avoid errors
11. Click “Apply Now” to submit information and provide the secret voucher pin and LASSRA Number in the appropriate column
12. You will receive an email and an SMS confirming your successful application.
13. Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile, and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document.
14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile; this would be used for verification.
15. Keep the hard copy of the signed profile; this would also be used for verification.
16. Return to www.scholastica.ng and update the application with National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure completion.
To secure your voucher pin proceed to the Lagos Scholarship Board office, 254 Ipaja road, Agege, Lagos, and show them your payment confirmation slip. Note: Multiple applications attract a disqualification penalty from the Scholarship board.
Lagos State postgraduate scholarship
The Lagos State Scholarship Board is the lead organization for scholarships and related affairs within the state. It awards grants to deserving students at various colleges for full-time study. Financially support these students.
Eligibility for Lagos State postgraduate scholarship
- All applicants must have completed a full-time postgraduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) from a recognized Nigerian college.
- All postgraduate candidates (applies only to candidates for a master’s degree program):
- i. If the MPC scale is 7.0 (e.g., University of Ibadan), it must have been reduced to primary education with a minimum of 4.6 / 7.0.
- ii. If the MPC scale is 5.0 (e.g., University of Lagos), they must have a minimum of 3.5 / 5.0 at the basic level.
- iii. If the MBM scale is 4.0 (for example, colleges and colleges), they must have a minimum of 3.0 / 4.0.
- Iv. If the candidate has acquired a higher degree in Higher National Diploma (HND), he must provide proof of successful completion of his postgraduate degree (PID).
