Post-graduate Scholarships at UCD in Ireland, 2019

The College of Social Sciences and Law are offering a number of scholarships for graduate students. The Scholarships are open to access students from low-income households who have accepted a place on a graduate taught programme within the College of Social Sciences and Law.

Scholarships provide for full fee support.

What You Need To Know About The  Undergraduate Scholarships at UCD in Ireland

The Cothrom na Féinne Scholarships are awarded to scholars who demonstrate clear motivation to pursue higher education despite educational challenges faced and demonstrate leadership to others experiencing similar challenges to pursue third level education. Applicants from low-income households are invited, and priority will be given to:

– HEAR students
– DARE students
– Students with a Disability
– First time Matures
– Incoming Access Student 2018/19
– Students who have successfully completed a UCD Access Programme
– QQI-FETs (Further education award holders)
– Irish Travellers
– Lone parents who are in receipt of a means-tested social welfare payment
– Ethnic minorities

LEVEL / FIELD OF STUDY :

The undergraduate Scholarships are open to new entrants to UCD (first years) who have accepted an offer to study in UCD. Applicants must be entering a full-time undergraduate programme of study.

ELIGIBLE NATIONALITY:

The scholarship is open to national and international students that want to pursue an undergraduatestudy in Ireland.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS :

Scholarships are valued at €1,500 per annum for the normal duration of the scholar’s programme of study. Scholarships will be paid in two instalments each year at the end of September/early October and at the end of January. The scholarship package also includes:

– Dedicated personal support offered by a team of experts
– The support of a peer mentoring network
– Leadership training programmes, networking and development opportunities.
