1. IOE Centenary Doctoral Scholarships for Developing Countries – University College London

Host/Eligible Nationality: The Institute of Education (IOE), University College, London, is partnering with the International Students House (ISH) to offer doctoral students from developing countries full scholarships for the 2023 academic session.

Level: This scholarship is open to those pursuing a Doctoral degree.

Scholarship Worth: The ISH accommodates its winners, while the IOE covers tuition fees. The scholarship does not cover subsistence in London or travel.

2. African Graduate Scholarship for African Students to Study at University College London

Host/Eligible Nationality: The University College London is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its African Graduate Scholarship, which is open to African nationals currently residing in an African nation. 

Level: This scholarship is open to those pursuing a Master’s degree.

Scholarship Worth: The amount awarded will be dependent on the individual candidate. Host/Eligible Nationality: The Denys Holland Foundation offers scholarships to financially challenged students willing to undertake undergraduate studies at University College, London. This scholarship is open to International students.

Scholarship Worth: The scholarship covers the following:

  • The scholarship is worth £9,000 per year for three years, subject to satisfactory academic progress, and scholars may choose to use all or part of the scholarship to cover fees. Any remainder is paid to the scholar as a maintenance award.

Host/Eligible Nationality: The University College London (UCL) and United World Colleges (UWC), with International Student House (ISH), have agreed to collaborate on a scheme to enable graduates of UWC who are financially unable to study in the UK, to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at UCL. International students are eligible for these scholarships. 

Level: This scholarship is open to those pursuing an Undergraduate degree program.

Scholarship Worth: The scholarship covers the following:

  • Full tuition fees;
  • Maintenance allowance of £7,000 per year for three years (consideration could be made for a four-year program – you must state this in your scholarship application);
  • Free accommodation in a standard or a twin room at International Student House for up to three years (40 weeks of contact per year) with the possibility of an extension into the fourth year where required;
  • Reimbursement of Tier 4 Visa application costs;
  • International economy air travel to/from the UK (with reasonable baggage costs) at the beginning and end of the award holder’s degree program.

6. University College London (UCL) Access Opportunity Scholarship for International Students

Host/Eligible Nationality: UCL is pleased to announce the establishment of a new scholarship scheme for the 2023 academic year: the Access Opportunity Scholarship. The scholarship intends to support those who, because of their immigration status, cannot secure student loans for their higher education. International students are not exempted from this great opportunity.
