What are Wells Fargo’s College STEPS Sweepstakes?

Wells Fargo Bank Scholarship is a sweepstake open to high school and undergraduate students for a chance to win $5000 to pay for college.

It is formally called the ‘Wells Fargo College STEPS Sweepstakes.’ Note that you will automatically be enrolled in the Sweepstakes when you sign up to receive their experts’ college planning and money management information.

How Much Is Wells Fargo’s Sweepstakes Worth?

Applicants of this CollegeSTEPS program have the chance of winning $5,000. Note, Winners are chosen through random drawings held throughout the year.

However, during the sweepstakes period, from June 1 through June 30, Wells Fargo Bank will award $40,000 – Three $5000 prizes to high school students and another three $5000 prizes to undergraduate college/university students. Additional smaller awards may also be offered.

Note, Winners in any prior CollegeSTEPS sweepstakes will not be entered and are not eligible to win another prize.

What are the Eligibility Criteria?

To qualify for this Program, You must meet the following terms:

Be a full or part-time student, 14 years of age or older as of 2023
In any accredited secondary or post-secondary educational institution like high school, college, university or trade school, or even home school
Most importantly, be legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
Must be at least 14 years of age
Eligible Students may only win one time

Wells Fargo’s CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes program is designed basically for U.S. students.

Note, Eligible Students who enrolled between 1/1/2023 and 6/30/2023 will be automatically entered in all drawings for this Sweepstakes without re-enrolling.

How To apply for the Collegesteps program scholarship sweepstakes

To enter the college steps program scholarship, you must follow the following procedures;

Complete and submit the CollegeSTEPS program (“Program”) online enrollment form (“Enrollment Form”) at wellsfargo.com/collegesteps
Then provide the name of your high school or college, graduation year, first and last name, mailing address (including street, city, state, and zip code), phone number, and email address.
After the submission online, you will automatically receive one entry in this Sweepstakes.
Note, You may opt out of the Program at any time; however, opting out of the Program will also opt you out of the Sweepstakes.

Note: any attempt to compromise the Program by getting multiple entries using different or multiple e-mail addresses, identities, log-ins, automatic entry software, or any other method results in disqualification.

In the event of a dispute, the Eligible Student’s first and last name on the enrollment form will determine whether or not the applicant will qualify.
