1. St. John’s University

St. John’s University is a Roman Catholic institution with Staten Island and Manhattan campuses. It was founded in 1870 by the Congregation of the Mission to offer superior higher education to an increasing immigrant community.

The institution has foreign campuses in Rome, Italy, Paris, France, Limerick, Ireland, etc. St. John’s is divided into five undergraduate and six graduate schools. 2. Fordham University

Founded in 1841, Fordham University is one of the best colleges in Manhattan. It is a private institution with a total undergraduate enrollment of 9,399 and tuition and fees of $55,776.

Fordham University has campuses throughout New York City, allowing students to live and learn in the city. The Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Gardens, and Little Italy are easily accessible from the school’s original Bronx site, Rose Hill.
