Frontier Education Foundation (FEF) was founded in 1992 under a provincial assembly law. The main task of the FSF was to promote and develop private-sector education in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa through financial support and other measures. The Board of Directors holds all administrative and management powers of the FSF. The Managing Director is the -Chief Executive of the FEF.
Frontier Education Foundation has launched a scholarship program for poor and deserving students from Khyber-Pakhtoonkhuwa. The primary criteria for this scholarship are merit and infallibility.
The Foundation has selected prestigious educational institutions for this scholarship at the national level. Scholarships are awarded by 44 prestigious academic institutions in the country.
The China Prime Minister’s Fellowship is organized by the FEF China 2023 for Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees at the prestigious Top Institute in China. Eligibility for FEF Scholarship Pakistan
Applicant should not hold any other Scholarship or Financial Assistance Award.
- Qualifications For Ph.D. Program: MS/MPhil Degree attained after 18 Years of Education.
- Qualifications For MS Program: MSC, BS, BSc 16 Years Education.
- Qualifications For BS Program: HSSC or A level.
Note, The Age Limit for MS & Ph.D. is 40 Years.
- Applicant For the Ph.D. program also submits a research proposal per HEC Criteria.
- The Alicants will be called for an Interview. No TA/DA will be given.
- Candidates or Chinese language programs should not be enrolled in any academic institution.
- 50% of the scholarship is reserved for Government Colleges of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa & 50% is open Merit.

Application Procedures
They ask you to submit a CV and the completed online application form.
- The Application Form along with payment order bank draft of Rs 1000 For the Chinese Language program and & 2000 For the BS/MS/Ph.D. program in Favour of the Managing Director, Frontier Education & other relevant documents (Domicile, academic certificates, diploma, degree) & a copy of a biometric page of passport & CNIC, etc.
- All Documents should be attested by government officials not below than rank of BPS 17
- Incomplete Application Forms will not be entertained.
- SMS 9Scholarshi Management Committee will decide the Number of Scholarships for each discipline).

FEF Scholarship Pakistan Documents Requirements
In applying for the FEF scholarship application, there are some documents that you are required to have with you. These documents are to be attached to the application form. They include Attested Photocopies of:
- Domicile Certificate C.N.I.C of Parent(s) / Guardian.
- Death certificate duly verified from NADRA in respect of deceased parent(s)
- DMC/Transcript (Last Examination)
- Salaried persons are required to submit a copy of the latest salary slip issued by the employer and duly attested by Govt. an officer, BPS 17 or above.
- Non-salaried persons are required to submit an income certificate countersigned by Deputy Commissioner (DC) or District Revenue Officer (DRO)
FEF Scholarship Application Deadline:
FEF Scholarship 2023, the last date is January 15th, 2023. However, the Deadline will be extended to 11th February 2023.
How to apply for a Chinese Student Visa
Time needed: 1 day, 3 hours and 30 minutes
- Application
You may apply for a Chinese Visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country. When applying for your visa, please bring a valid passport, the original copy of the university’s Admission Notice, the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (also known as the JW201/JW202 form ), and the original physical examination record.
- Attach your Documents
Ensure that your admission notice, JW202 form, and physical examination record (within the validity of their visa, holders of X2 Visa do not need to present the papers after arrival in China) are handed back to you with your passport after obtaining your Chinese visa. You will need these documents to apply for your Residence Permit after you arrive in Chongqing.
- Obtain X1 Visa
International students who will study in China for more than six months are required to obtain an X1 visa, while students who will study in China for less than six months may apply for an X2 Visa.
An X1 visa will only be valid for 30 days after your arrival. You must apply for a residence permit within these 30 days to obtain legal status in China at Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau. You are discouraged from arriving in China ahead of time due to the short time limit of your visa.
