Bangladesh students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the Sonal Bank Education Stipend.

Scholarship Worth
If successful, applicants will receive a stipend of 10,000 Taka. However, this Sonal Scholarship amount is a one-time stipend.
Eligibility
Besides being a Bangladesh citizens, applicants must also fulfill the following criteria:
For HSC Level:
Applicants must have a minimum of a 4.00-grade point average in SSC or equivalent exams. However, in the case of physical disability and freedom fighters’ children, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
For Graduate Level:
Applicants must have a 5.00 grade point average in HSC or equivalent exams. However, with physical disabilities and freedom fighters’ children, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.00.

For Postgraduate Level:
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Other Criteria
Besides the passing marks above, it is also important to note:
- Applicants can apply if their fathers/guardian’s monthly income is below 10,000 takas.
- Also, applicants of Chor, Hawr, Coastal area, economically underdeveloped & Farmers, Day Laborer’s, Tribal children get priority for the scholarship.

- Testimonial of the present educational institute
- Academic Transcripts of educational life
- Citizenship certificate
- Also, a Certificate of economic condition
- Testimonial of Monthly Income Statement from the chairperson of UP or municipality mayor
- Testimonial of Government Employee guardian’s salary from the proper authority
- Freedom fighters certificate for freedom fighters’ children
