Merit Scholarships for Freshmen:
The University of Arizona offers several scholarships based on academic achievement. The University of Arizona Scholarships awards are available to new undergraduates planning to join the University of Arizona.
International students may be eligible for merit-based scholarships. The International Tuition Award may be awarded to admitted students applying for the scholarship based on grade point average (GPA) and test scores.
Some of the University of Arizona Scholarships (such as the Wildcat Excellence Tuition Award and the Regents High Honors Endors Award) are only open to residents of Arizona.
The other University of Arizona Scholarships, such as the Arizona Excellence Tuition Award, is open only to non-Arizona residents. These scholarships are based on the cumulative grade point average and the standardized test results of the incoming student.
UA Bridge Study Scholarship:
This scholarship is open to UA students enrolled in the UA Bridge program. Only students with an average of 3.0 will be considered for this prize. Students must have at least 36 credits to be transferred from a community college, but their previous courses may not exceed 72 credits. (Diazepam)

Foster Care to Success Education Award:
This scholarship was created to educate AZ residents housed in nursing homes. The University of Arizona Scholarships program covers all tuition, student fees, and other student expenses. Students are required to reside in the United States and were admitted to care facilities at 16.
Only students with assets under $ 10,000 can qualify for this award. In addition, students must be under 21 years of age and have their care status checked by AZ’s DCFY method.
All applicants must complete an application from FAFSA by 1 March of the year in which they wish to receive a grant. More information can be found here.
