The university charges a nominal $60 Application Processing Fee for all applicants as well as a $100 Exam Processing Fee for each exam ($200 for the MBA). Based on this, an associate’s degree can be completed in 2 years for $2060, a bachelor’s degree can be completed in 4 years for $4060, and an MBA can be completed in 15 months for $2460.

Requirements for Undergraduate Degree Programs at UoPeople

As a fully accredited online University, UoPeople has a number of requirements for its potential applicants to maintain a strong and intellectual student body.

The admission requirements include;

  • 16 years old or older
  • Completed high school
  • Proficiency in English for non-native English speakers. If unable to provide proof, you’ll complete the UoPeople English course before proceeding to UoPeople Foundations
  • Online application
  • No entrance exam. Don’t submit standardized test scores.
  • Submit transcript or official diploma OR the results from an Ability to Benefit test approved by the US Department of Education, if an applicant, such as a refugee or asylum seeker is unable to provide the documents listed above.

Before students can begin the undergraduate degree, they will complete the UoPeople Foundations Courses. It counts among the associate’s and bachelor’s degree credit requirements.

  • The UoPeople MBA Foundations Courses count among the MBA degree credit requirements.
  • Submit transcripts directly or by mail. Else, submit results of an Ability to Benefit test, for those who are unable to produce original diplomas/and or transcripts, such as Refugees and Asylum- Seekers.
  • Any document not written in English will be submitted alongside the official translation.
  • They also allow the transfer of credit from an equivalent course. For an Associate’s Degree, up to 30 credits, and for a Bachelor’s Degree up to 60 credits can be transferred.
