It pleases the Financial Aid Office to announce that the 2023 application cycle for Wentworth Endowed Scholarships is now live through Academic Works. To submit your application, complete the following step-by-step directions.

• Visi the “Financial Aid” tab at the top of the screen.
• Visit “WIT Endowed  Scholarship Application”.
• Summarise and get your General Application completed no later than 6/1/18  completing the General Application would guarantee you have applied for the endowed scholarships, see “opportunities” to apply for more specific scholarships.

Wentworth Scholarship

This institution offers merit-based scholarships besides need-based aid.  All applicants are automatically considered for Merit Awards – no additional application is necessary.

Merit Scholarships range from $1,000 to $13,000 for the entering class of Fall 2018.  The Admissions Office determines the qualification and criteria for evaluation and begins in mid-January.

They may renew this opportunity for up to five years, depending on the recipient’s bachelor’s degree program length.

Beneficiaries must be enrolled full-time (12 classroom credits) and maintain a 2.5 institutional cumulative GPA. Postgraduate students are not eligible for the Merit award scholarship.

Wentworth Community Scholarship

Criteria for the qualification if Wentworth’s Community Scholarship Committee determines this scholarship award.

Students who are returning, and show a significant commitment to the Wentworth Community through involvement in social, administrative, charitable and athletic activities.

A person who’s an eligible student must have completed four semesters and been enrolled full time while maintaining an institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Students who are interested should apply using the Endowed Scholarship application. The beneficiaries must re-apply every year. Maximum award: $2,500.

Boston Resident Scholarship – For Current High School Seniors

The institution (Wentworth)  is committed to the Boston community and its students. This institution offers Boston Resident Scholarships to current high school seniors who are Boston residents and have been accepted to the University.

This is apparently a huge grant that could last for  4-year, full tuition scholarship after federal, state and Wentworth funding is awarded.

Scholarship selection is based on a variety of factors including academics, leadership, school and community involvement and financial deficiency.

Interested students must apply for federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA form to be eligible.  Applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 at Wentworth for the scholarship to be renewed each year.

An application is required for consideration for the Boston Resident Scholarship.  Last date and the deadline to apply is March 16th.
