The Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award 2023 is open to all students attending a high school, undergraduates, and postgraduates of a university, college, or trade school.

The Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award 2023 is open to students resident in the US.

How to Apply

To apply, the applicant must answer one of the following questions:

• Why is learning important to you, and how has it impacted your life?
• Why is having good “people” skills important, and how do you use them?
• How will this scholarship award help you?
• Why is having good technical or job-specific skills important and how will this make you more employable?

Entries can be research-based, or well-argued, and comedy is fine as long as it’s relevant.  Just be yourself and do your best.

Submissions can be made in either video or blog article format.

Video submission guidelines

• Select ONE of the questions from the list above.
• Create a short video (no more than 4 minutes) answering your selected question. This can be you speaking to the camera (webcam), or a movie or a slide presentation.
• Upload the video to YouTube and put “Activia Training US Scholarship” as the title.
• You must also provide a link to the Activia Training page inside the description area. Use your own words in and around the link.
• When you have completed these steps, fill out the form in the Activia Site.

Blog article submission guidelines

• Select ONE of the questions from the list above.
• Write a short blog article on your selected question (500-1,000 words).
• Publish the article on your blog (it can be yours or a friend’s). Choose your own title for the article,
• You must also provide a link to this page within the article or at the end. Use your own words in and around the link.
• When you have completed these steps, fill out the form in the Activia Site.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to fulfill the following criteria:

• You have to be attending or have secured a place in a college, university, high school, or trade school in America.
• At least 16 years of age.

Also, you provide them consent to print these if you’re successful or a runner-up:

• Your name
• Area of residence (not your full address)
• Entry

You must also have a bank or similar account (PayPal is great) into which we can pay funds electronically.
For reasons of safe transmission, we do not send out checks through the mail.

Scholarship Worth

The $1500 Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award is divided into two scholarship awards of $750 each year, running to May and November, as follows:

• TWO video winners will receive $250
• TWO blog article winners will receive $125

Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for a runner the award as follows:

• YouTube videos: $20
• Blog articles: $15

Only one entry per student per award period, is permitted.

Application Deadline

The December 2023 award is currently closed. Notwithstanding, the submission of entries for the next award is ongoing and will be closed by July 31st.
