COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS PLAN

The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is a recognized international program on which member governments offer scholarships and fellowships to students of other Commonwealth countries.

The CSFP was invented and kick-started at the first Commonwealth Education Conference in 1959, and about 27,000 students from Africa countries, including students from Zimbabwe, have benefited.

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSC) has the responsibility to manage Britain’s contribution to the CSFP.

This scholarship is available to Masters applicants(students) who are from Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe.

This scholarship is available for students taking the MBA or MFin.

QUEENS’ COLLEGE STEPHEN THOMAS STUDENTSHIP

This scholarship is available to postgraduate applicants in the fields of Engineering or Computer Science and is only tenable in the UK.

The program allows for one student each year from Zimbabwe or developing countries to study each year for free, and an award will next be made to a student starting in 2022-2022.

UWE CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

The University of the West of England located in Bristol offers more than £100,000 worth of scholarships for international students every year. The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships set up by the Department for International Development in 1986, represent a unique partnership between the United Kingdom government and UK institutions.
