$1,500 is offered annually and is non-renewable. The prize of this scholarship will be in the form of a check made payable to the accredited post-secondary institution of higher education where the scholarship prize recipient attends. The proof of enrollment to be submitted by the scholarship prize recipient must be done on or before Dec. 31, 2025.

One award is offered annually.

Regardless of academic merit or financial need, all students are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants who follow directions and submit applications that are well-written and clearly and creatively address the topic is required.

On or about April 30th, one potential winner will be selected by a qualified panel of judges and the basis of selection will be on the criteria of writing ability (25 percent), originality (25 percent), creativity (25 percent), and overall excellence (25 percent).
