Jones performed “I Will Always Love You” as an audition song for series 6 of The X Factor UK. Dannii Minogue guided her as she progressed to the live performances. Jones was eliminated in week five during the showdown against John & Edward after a tie vote between Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell to send Jones home and Minogue and Cheryl Cole to send John & Edward home. 

Following her removal, 1,113 viewers expressed their dissatisfaction with Cowell’s decision to bring the vote to a halt rather than sending John & Edward home by a majority vote. 

Furthermore, Jones was signed to Select Model Management after being ousted from The X Factor and began a modeling career. Cameron Mackintosh hired Jones in May 2010 to play Cosette in the West End version of Les Misérables. She was announced as the face of Wonderbra’s Full Effects campaign in September 2010.
