What is a Home Warranty?

A home warranty is a home protection plan that covers the cost of repair and replacement of household appliances and systems that break down due to wear and tear.

It is an agreement with the homeowner to repair or replace any appliance that is covered in the contract in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

The appliances include refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, water heaters, interior electricals, plumbing, water and sewer lines, ACs, well pumps, TVs, and lots more.

You may decide to sell the broken TV for an extra income.

It is also called a home service agreement.

How does American Residential Warranty work?

You’ll typically pick a plan, call the service providers when there’s a need and help will be sent across.

Ideally, if a home appliance covered in the contract breaks down, like a washing machine, the homeowner is to contact the warranty company. They will arrange for a qualified technician to come to oversee the damage.

Would you like to flip that heavy washing machine for some cash? Give it a shot.

Whatever it is, whether a mechanical failure or wear and tear, once it is covered in terms of the contract, the appliance will either be replaced or repaired. This is in exchange for a service fee which is defined in the contract.

American Residential Warranty Review

“Could not have asked for a more comfortable, seamless, and efficient experience. More proof that ARW was a very wise choice and a sound investment. From the courtesy of the ARW representative in arranging the repair service to the prompt and efficient service provided by the service representative who completed the repair work, it gives me all the more confidence in ARW should I need help in the future” – Margaret

“My experience was horrible. It was 95 degrees to a 100 degrees inside of my house. It taken a month then finally get a answer from American Residential warranty in reference to getting my air-conditioning fixed. But, I believe I would have received better service it if wasn’t for covid-19, due to covid-19 it put a lot of things on hold so I had to have a lot of patience. But even though it took a month the best outcome was that I did get my air-conditioning unit fixed. The service technician was outstanding and explained everything in detail. Two thumbs up to the technician”- Sherel

Our Verdict on American Residential Warranty Review

After a careful review of American Residential Warranty, we have come to the assertion that they have a variety of unique plans that meet home appliances and systems needs which many warranty companies do not offer.

Likewise, while they have extensive plans, their service can be expensive. The most comprehensive plan is priced at around $125 per month and it is expensive.

Additionally, you’ll call the approved contractor yourself. The trade service fee of $55 per claim is quite expensive. Again, you can’t file a claim online. So, American Residential may not be a good option if you’re looking for basic coverage at an affordable price.

Regardless, their customer service is top notch. You won’t have much complaint.

If you have that extra cash to toss around or believe in excellence, by all means, buy a plan with American Residential Warranty. They sure won’t disappoint you because they have excellent customer service.
