Note that ASQ and IASSC do not cover certification for this level.

For CSSC; The council offers the green belt certification in two ways. For ASQ; ASQ members can take the exam for $338 and nonmembers can expect to pay $438 for the exam. Retakes are charged at $238.

For the black belt, six sigma certification the CSSC charge $159 for the basic black belt level and $300 for the standard level II black belt certification.
For ASQ; to sit for the exam, ASQ members must pay $438 and non-members must pay $538.

Master Black Belt

How to get a Six Sigma Certification and How long it takes to be Certified
1. You must first understand which certification level is right for you:

- Exams run for three to four hours.
There is no limit to how many times you can retake an exam. However, you must retake it within two years of your last attempt. And a retaken fee is charged.

Prerequisites for Master Black Belt:

- You must have five years experience in project management.
- After applying, the training runs for 4 to 5 days, and a 3 hour exam.
