Don is the President and former senior pastor of Christ’s Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona, one of the largest churches in the United States, with an average attendance of nearly 28,000 people per week across nine locations.
Wilson was also instrumental in founding four other churches in the Valley, including Christ’s Church of the Crossroads, The Refinery Christian Church, Journey Christian Church, and Praxis Church of Scottsdale.
Early life
Wilson attended Manhattan Christian College, Kansas State University, and the California Graduate School of Theology, where he received his Ph.D. In 1982, Don began holding services in a rented movie theater, which was the beginning of Christ’s Church of the Valley.
